About Us
Bita Payesteh, PhD, CCC-SLP is a bilingual speech-language pathologist and former professor who is passionate about educating and empowering children while creating a joyful learning environment that is collaborative, grounding, and connected to the natural world. She also enjoys working with caregivers to support their children's communication needs and has extensive experience working with bilingual/bicultural families.
With Master's and Doctoral degrees in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences, Bita has worked in early childhood education, elementary schools, and high schools, and spent nearly a decade as a professor and clinical educator, specializing in childhood language development and disorders.
Philosophy
Khooneye Ma draws its inspiration from Golestan Kids. At the core of our program is the philosophy that natural materials in a simple, soothing, and structured environment create a place where children can thrive, with themes in the curriculum that lead into each other for a rich and profound understanding of the world we live in.
We emphasize:

This program is a full Persian language immersion program.
Khooneye Ma is a member of Golestan Colab, which collaborates with local and global educators and community organizations to create ideal learning environments for children.
